First of all i am more then satisfied because all went well with the car hired (new car, clean, well prepared etc) and the service offered to me from the booking stages were great.Refering to the insurance which included the wind screen, tyres, under carraige and persons on board etc. Further more the certificate received from Questor.To me this means that you mean business.
Anyway, although i had no claim, i still believe that if i did i wouldn't have experienced any difficulties to get my money back. Very good THANKS.
One other positive thing is that money frozen from the visa to make good for the hired car was released immediately. Normally, it takes more then a week to be released by other companies.
I am saying so because i have travelled to Europe and hired a car for the past 6 years, 3 times a year.
In all these years i had 2 claims. the first all went well and my money was reimbursed.
My second, which occured 2 months ago, was a total disaster. reason being that the car was not checked prior handing over to us. The car was dirty, no water in the wind screen wash bottle, had consumed tyres although they knew that we were to leave the car in another airport being more than 500 miles away. In fact we had a frightening experience when the right front tyre was blown off and torn on the highway. we were towed to a service station and i had to pay for the burst tyre and also for the left side front tyre, althought this was not damaged.
No money was reimbursed.
