Dalaman Airport is modern and efficient. It is situated close to the town of Dalaman and offers a gateway to many beautiful seaside resorts and scenic drives through the Turkish countryside, making cheap car hire at Dalaman Airport a great choice. There is a domestic terminal and a very modern international terminal. The international terminal cost in excess of US$150 million to construct. There are 14 aircraft stands and four gates. The international and domestic terminals can handle up to 3.5 million passengers a year, but currently handle 2.5 million. The terminals are cool and comfortable and have good facilities such as ATM machines, post office and car hire companies.

Snacks and fast food are well provided for and you will find many familiar names and brands in the terminal; KFC and McDonalds to name but two. There is a good coffee shop but it is a little expensive. There are also many gift shops and duty-free shops; these too can be a little pricey so try to bargain. Buses serve as a link between the airport and Dalaman Town. These are infrequent and only one bus runs this route in the morning and there is a late afternoon service only on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Taxis operate from the airport. Try to agree a price first, as they can be expensive.
