Sixt car rental has just been voted the World’s Best Car Rental Agency in the 14th annual Travel and Leisure Magazine reader’s poll. The survey is a benchmark of consumer opinion on a variety of travel related topics, services, and destinations worldwide.

Consumers cast votes in categories that include best cities, hotels, airlines, tour operators and car rental agencies just to name a few. With this award, Sixt joins such other distinguished recipients as Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic. This is the first time Sixt has won the award.

In the Best Hotel category this year the winner was the exclusive Bushman’s Kloof located in Cedarberg Mountains, South Africa. Bushman’s was another first time winner.

The car hire award judges items such as availability and choice of vehicles, number of locations, cost benefit to consumers, and most importantly customer satisfaction. Sixt came out a winner by providing top notch service to millions of customers worldwide from over 3,500 locations in 90 countries.
