Who are we?
Erentals.co.uk searches local suppliers to find you the best prices. Our website allows you to search and book your vehicle. Once you have made your booking your will receive a voucher via email which confirms the reservation and must be presented to the local rental company when you collect your vehicle. Prices are quoted in GBP.
What′s included in the price?
- Unlimited mileage.
- Third party insurance (for the extent of the indemnity please check the local rental company’s terms and conditions).
- Comprehensive and vehicle theft coverage (with excess).
- Airport taxes, delivery and other local taxes necessary, unless the conditions stated on the documentation or voucher mention an exception.
Can I reserve a particular vehicle?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a particular vehicle; vehicles are classed by group based on size, performance or type. If a vehicle in the agreed group is not available at time of collection a vehicle from a higher group will be provided at no extra cost to the customer.
How do I pay for my rental?
Payment can only be made by credit card. We debit your credit card for the full amount of the booking at the time your booking is made. For all on request bookings, please note that we will debit your credit card on confirmation date of your booking.
What happens if I bring back my vehicle late?
A rental day is the time period 24 hours from the collection of the rental vehicle. If the 24 hour period has been exceeded, the additional time will be charged at the local rate. If the vehicle is returned early no refunds are possible.
Cancellation caveat
The service provider reserves the right to withdraw from a reservation, inside of 7 days of the reservation confirmation, should the local rental car company turn down the rental of the vehicle. We will contact you by Fax, E-mail or letter. Should your payment already be completed, it will be fully reimbursed.
Can I cancel my vehicle?
You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the start of the hire period. You can email our support team or call 0905/ 848 0102 (0.25 GBP/min).
Cancellation fees are charged as follows -
- More than 4 days before the start of the rental period: 19.00 GBP.
- Less than 4 days but more than 24 hours before the start of the rental period 49.00 GBP.
- Less than 24 hours before the start of the rental period or if the vehicle is not collected, full rental charge.
You will receive a copy of the cancellation order for your records. There is no charge for cancellations made within 24 hours of the original booking, provided that the reservation has been made more than 48 hours before the start of the rental period.
Can I make changes to my reservation?
Please contact us with your changes. All changes to a reservation require confirmation from the local rental company. It is not generally possible to change a reservation less than 24 hours before the agreed collection date. We will, however, endeavour to process any amendments you may make, subject to availability. Additional accessories such as child safety seats, snow chains etc. are available, at extra charge, from many local rental companies.
Where do I collect my vehicle?
The address of the local partner is shown on your voucher, vehicles are usually collected from the airport, a free shuttle service is available if the rental partner isn’t located directly in the airport. If hotel delivery is possible or has been pre-arranged, additional charges may be incurred payable directly to the local rental company.
What happens if I break down?
Please inform the local rental company immediately, do not make repairs without the local company’s permission.
What do I need to rent a vehicle?
Please note local requirements. Normally the driver and any additional drivers should have held a driving licence Type 3 (Type B EU standard) for at least one year. In certain countries, drivers are required to have held a valid driving licence for at least three years. A valid passport or identity card must be presented when collecting the vehicle. Sometimes a charge is incurred for an additional driver. Some local rental companies have a minimum age for all first and additional drivers. Please note the advice at time of booking. Many local rental companies require a deposit. In this case a credit card is required.
Can I book a one-way rental?
Yes, this is possible in many destinations, provided that the drop-off is in the same country as the pick up. Please read associated terms and additional costs at time of booking.
Your responsibility
By making a booking you are agreeing to ensure that your email account is working correctly and you have enough capacity to receive emails from us and your chosen supplier. We cannot be held responsible for any damages incurred from any Email limitations you have.
The rental contract is concluded locally with the local rental company. Please read the rental agreement carefully and keep a copy for reference.
